Due to travel and moving I haven't had a cleaning in over a year. The front office staff was very kind and welcoming. I recently moved to the area and I was very fortunate to find Lighthouse Dental in Wilmington, NC. Having worked for a small, family run dental practice for 20 years, I had high expectations.
Dr. Bronstein and his entire staff are warm, welcoming and compassionate. Elaine, my hygienist, was friendly, gentle and thorough.
Dr.B and his assistant, Alexis, went above & beyond to make me feel comfortable during my treatment, which was quick and pain free.

I meet the new owner, Dr. Bronstein, today. He is just as awesome as Dr. Phelps, and I love Dr. Phelps. Elaine did a great job on my cleaning and gave me useful tips for my daily routine. I'm glad to say I felt right at home at Lighthouse.

Let me begin by saying that I have extreme anxiety when it comes to the dentist—and I mean heart palpitations and I might just pass out kind of anxiety.

However, from the very moment I walked through the doors of Lighthouse Dental, I was met with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. The front desk team greeted me by name and went above and beyond to put my mind at ease before I even sat in the chair.

Our family been going to this dental practice for years- Lighthouse Dental (formerly Phelps family dentistry). I was nervous about the transition from the Phelps- however Dr. Bronstein is personable, reassuring, and thorough. I know we are going to be in great hands! Peter- my dental hygienist- is the best! He is calm, friendly, and keeps me distracted while he does great work!

I think that the Phelps Dentistry was one of the best in town with a wonderful loyal staff. When Dr. Phelps retired, he was very fortunate to sell his practice to Jordan Bronstein, DMD PLLC DBA Lighthouse Dental. He stepped right into his new practice with a smile and knowledge to become another fine dentist to take over Dr. Phelps' patients. My first visit since the practice became Lighthouse Dental. Was great to have Marlene still there for my cleaning. She is thorough and lets me know how my dental hygiene is and recommendations for improvement. She has been the Dental Hygienist that I have been seeing for a long time and I'm happy she is still available.
This was the first time that I have met Dr. Bronstein. Very personable and is on top of things. Looks like a smooth transition from Dr. Phelps and I highly recommend this practice for your dental needs.

I have always had a good experience with Dr. Lisa phelps and her team. She has been my dentist for many many years. Her staff are wonderful and have always gone out of their way to work with me. Even though her practice is out of network for my dental insurance, the care I receive is priceless. To this day, they give me excellent service. I pay more for out of network care, but it has always been worth it to me.

The is a top notch professional dental office from the first phone call to leaving the building. Once entering the building was greeted and smiles and kindness. Everyone acknowledged my special needs daughter who was the patient by her first name even those not working with her. They treated her as an individual and not an individual with a disability. They talked to her and not over her. Took time to make sure they addressed her questions and went at her pace. Spoke in terms that she understood and showed models. To a mother this was an awesome experience and this office sets the bar so high and is an example of how to treat and handle an individual with special needs. They addressed my concerns and I felt heard and understood. The two hour drive one way was beyond worth it.

As always, I had an excellent experience at Lighthouse Dental this afternoon. My appointment was for a scheduled cleaning with hygienist, Elaine, who did a great job! She is very friendly and pleasant! Dr. Bronstein, who is relatively new to the practice, is very professional and likable! He explains everything in an understandable manner and is going to be an awesome replacement for Dan Phelps who recently retired after many years!
